Our History
Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Adenta began as a prayer meeting held in the home of Mrs. Justina Utuka in 1987. On 2nd August 1987, the first formal church service was held with 36 worshippers in attendance.
The church was officially inaugurated on 18th December 1988. In 1989, land was acquired for a permanent site, and construction began in 1990.
The first baptism was conducted in March 1989, marking the beginning of sacramental growth within the church.
In 1997, the church attained district status and began planting other congregations including Ashongman, Amrahia, Adjiriganor, and North Legon.
Through faith, sacrifice, and strong leadership, the church has grown into a spiritually vibrant and mission-driven district.
